Job Description

eVision Media is hiring an experienced Web & Graphic Designer to support client projects on a contract, part-time basis. The role involves designing brand-driven website mockups in Figma or Adobe XD and creating polished marketing assets for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. This is a remote role with flexible hours, requiring reliability with deadlines and responsiveness in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years professional experience in web design (agency experience is a plus).

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD and other Adobe design apps; must be comfortable building responsive layouts.

Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing modern, custom website designs and supporting brand/marketing assets.

Language Skills: Strong written and verbal English (must be your primary language).

UX/UI Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of current UX/UI best practices (responsive design, navigation, readability, accessibility-aware design).

Collaboration: Comfort working from brand guidelines and/or translating a brand discovery into a visual system.

Nice-to-Have Assets: Experience designing for WordPress builds, understanding of SEO-friendly design, ability to create light component systems/design libraries, basic motion/animation, short-form ad creative, or video thumbnail experience.

Work Style & Expectations

Remote position, located within Canada. Contract, part-time hours (flexible). Occasional Zoom meetings expected. Must keep work organized, name files properly, and document decisions when needed. Client confidentiality and file handling must be strictly observed.
