Job Description

The Sinor Graphic Designer provides innovative graphic design services to support the sale and vision of the sales department and other graphic initiatives. This position manages graphics projects and coordinates all related details, acting as a support to the graphics department as a whole. Responsibilities include assisting with the completion of design, signage, and custom built graphic projects, as well as maintaining inventory of graphics department supplies and equipment. The position reports to the Graphics Manager, receiving direction from the Graphics Assistant Manager, Event Directors, and other Creative Services team members.

Requirements

• A college degree in Graphic Design (specifically BS or BFA).
• 5+ years of prior graphic design experience is required, with knowledge and experience in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, etc.
• Strong conceptual design skills and sense of style.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong ability to multi-task, pay attention to details, manage fluctuating priorities, and work fast and efficiently.
• Great attitude and team player.
• Knowledge of large-scale graphic designs is a plus.

Essential Duties

• Designs creative, eye-catching conceptual and computer graphic designs using latest Mac software for event decor.
• Assesses and adjusts designs to align themes and clients’ vision.
• Collaborates with other designers to achieve cohesive design aesthetics across projects.
• Coordinates, prioritizes, proofreads, and produces logos, collateral, custom signage, and environmental graphics for multiple projects.
• Utilizes time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Maintains proper project file management on computer and other media.
• Participates in meetings as a department representative.
• Prepares visual instructions for production workers for samples and events.

Other Duties and Safety Requirements

• Complies with department and company safety guidelines.
• Mentors safe work practices to co-workers and the team.
• Completes safety training as directed.
• Interfaces professionally and respectfully with all individuals.
• Completes necessary HR and Payroll tasks through the Employee Self Service Online Portal.
• Assists in other departments as needed.
• May perform other duties as required.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for the majority of the workday.
• Ability to use hands and arms throughout the shift.
• May need to lift 20 pounds or more.
• Required to move between multiple locations during the workday.
• Must have 20/20 vision with correction.
• Must tolerate varied temperature conditions.
• Ability to work in moderate noise levels within shared office space.
