Job Description

Pollinate is seeking a freelance designer with a strong foundational skill set and a willingness to engage in extensive design and concepting projects. The aim is to create unexpected, brand-consistent, and strategically-sound visual executions.

Requirements

• Highly proficient in typography, layout, color theory, and brand identity design across digital and print media.
• Technical expert. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Collaborative. Ability to work closely with the creative team to produce cohesive design solutions.
• Organized.
• Proactive. Comfort in receiving and implementing feedback.
• High Standards. Commitment to quality and detail, ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute or fine-tune design assets for campaigns, presentations, and digital platforms.
• Support senior creatives on brand, product, or content design deliverables.
• Participate in internal reviews and actively seek feedback to improve craft.
• Stay knowledgeable on visual trends and design standards.

Additional Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a design role, either in an agency or in-house.
• Portfolio demonstrating expertise in paid and owned media.
• Experience with UI and web design.
• Must operate as an established business (LLC, sole proprietorship, or equivalent).
• Local to Portland Oregon Metro Area.
