Job Description
Liberty Rings Media is seeking a Philadelphia-based Content Creator & Social Media Manager to support a boxing client/boxing team throughout the season. This is a contract role, not full-time. The core of this position is on-site content capture, paired with social media management and light post-production. We’re looking for someone who understands sports culture, works quickly, and knows how to turn live moments into strong, social-first content.
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content at live events, training sessions, and activations
- Lead day-to-day social media posting and publishing
- Create and publish short-form, social-first content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Perform light editing for social (cuts, pacing, captions, basic color)
- Create simple graphics when needed (announcements, results, promotional assets)
- Manage content timing around events and key moments
- Engage with the audience and maintain an active social presence
- Collaborate closely with Liberty Rings Media and client stakeholders
Requirements
- Based in or near Philadelphia and able to be on-site
- Background in sports content and social media management
- Strong understanding of platform trends and best practices
- Comfortable capturing content in fast-moving, live environments
- Working knowledge of common editing and design tools
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently on a contract basis
Nice to Have
- Experience with boxing or combat sports
- Prior experience managing social accounts for a sports brand or team
- Ability to move quickly around live events and deliver content in real time
Contract Details
- Contract / freelance role
- Scope and compensation based on experience and availability
- Schedule aligned with a seasonal event calendar
- Pay: From $300.00 per day
