Job Description

We are seeking a culturally fluent and creative Social Media Manager for a 6-month contract to oversee and execute our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The focus of the 6 months is Live Christian Album. This role is focused on posting, storytelling, and engagement, not content capture. All footage and assets will be provided, including behind-the-scenes content and select edited projects.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a consistent posting strategy that is culturally relevant, timely, and aligned with our brand voice.
• Manage day-to-day posting across platforms (posts, stories, and reels).
• Create engaging reels, posts, and stories using provided BTS footage and delivered edits.
• Drive audience engagement through thoughtful captions, trends, and platform-native storytelling.
• Maintain an organized content calendar and posting cadence.
• Monitor performance and adapt content for engagement and growth.

What You Won’t Be Responsible For:

• Capturing or filming content.
• On-site production or shoots.

Ideal Candidate:

• Deep understanding of culture, trends, and social media storytelling.
• Strong eye for pacing, tone, and platform-specific content.
• Comfortable editing short-form social content (reels, stories, posts) from existing assets.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage consistent posting over time.
