Job Description

Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands such as Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. We have multiple sales channels including our DTC websites and third-party marketplaces, aiming to create an inspiring shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for a new member to join our Ecommerce team, reporting directly to the Director of Design.

Position Overview: As a Graphic Designer & E-Commerce Marketer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a wide variety of digital marketing materials across multiple brands.
• Maintaining marketing graphics on 3rd party sites (like Amazon A+ content/Brand store).
• Creating social media content and email marketing designs in coordination with our Marketing and Design team.
• Creating slideshow style brand- and product-focused video animations.
• Managing and maintaining our large asset/image library.
• Post-processing of content assets per project needs.
• Various ad-hoc projects.
• Photography and Videography experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong skills and at least 1 year of hands-on experience in leading design programs, specifically: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva.
• Ability to create headlines and content for Social Media/Email based on the Marketing calendar.
• Experience with social media marketing and email marketing.
• Some experience in Video/Motion Graphics software like Premiere Pro or After Effects, VideoLeap or Capcut.
• Familiarity with CMS software like Shopify and WordPress.
• Familiarity with email client management tools like Klaviyo and Mailchimp.
• Highly detail-oriented and exceptionally organized.
• Ability to communicate and explain your creations effectively.
• Excellent eye for color and branding.
• Self-starter with good time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Open-mindedness and curiosity to constantly evolve your talents.
• Ability to take creative direction and implement feedback across a range of deliverables.
