Job Description

Ignite your creativity and passion for sports with this exciting opportunity as a Seasonal Sports Contract Graphic Designer! In this dynamic role, you will craft vibrant visual content that captures the energy and spirit of our sporting events, teams, and fan experiences. These are small scale projects that support the in-arena fan experience and sponsorship activation through digital and jumbotron assets. You will collaborate closely with marketing, branding, and production teams to develop eye-catching graphics, motion visuals, and digital assets that elevate our brand presence across multiple platforms. This position offers a chance to showcase your artistic talents in a fast-paced environment while contributing to memorable sporting moments.

Requirements

• Strong art direction skills with an eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency in the sports industry.
• Expertise in branding strategies and logo design principles.
• Experience with photography techniques including photo manipulation and digital art creations.
• Understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, and typesetting for both digital and print media.
• Familiarity with sign manufacturing processes for physical promotional displays.
• Excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• All design programs that you are familiar with are acceptable.

Duties

• Design compelling graphics for digital and print media, including posters, banners, social media content, and promotional materials that align with brand standards and event themes.
• Create engaging motion graphics and animations using relevant tools to enhance video content and live presentations (a plus).
• Work closely with venue operations specialists to ensure graphics are sized perfectly as well as signage production.
• Develop logos, icons, and visual elements that reinforce team branding and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with photographers to produce high-quality images for use in campaigns and promotional materials.
• Implement color management techniques to ensure consistency across all visual assets while adhering to branding guidelines.
• Assist in layout design for print advertising, signage manufacturing, virtual backgrounds, web advertising, in-arena jumbotrons, digital assets, and presentation materials for events and promotions.
