Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Freelance Graphic Designer to collaborate on a variety of on-call creative projects. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely, contributing to branding, digital art, and visual design initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual communication, information graphics, and print design. As a freelance professional, you will bring innovative ideas and technical skills to produce compelling visuals that align with client objectives and brand identities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, logo design, and print advertising.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Skills in digital art creation including photo manipulation, photo editing, and digital illustration.
• Understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, typesetting, color management for print and digital media.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with clients remotely.
• This position will be entirely on-call (or as needed) and offers the flexibility to work from anywhere and challenge your artistic talents and technical expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and potentially more.
• Personal work station with Macintosh platform and utilize latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud/Adobe Creative Suite.

Duties

• Develop and execute creative concepts for digital content.
• Design logos, illustrations, layouts, and visual assets using industry-standard tools such as latest Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet their vision.
• Manage digital design projects from concept through completion, ensuring consistency in style, color management, typography, and overall aesthetic.
• Produce print advertising materials and signage for promotional purposes.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends in digital art and visual design.

Additional Information

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 20.0 per week

Education: Associate (Preferred)

Experience: Graphic design: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote
