Job Description

We are a fast-paced design studio located in the heart of Liverpool’s business district, seeking a Freelance Graphic/Illustrator. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of studio or industry experience and a creative flair. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a determined individual to gain essential industry experience while being mentored by experienced designers. The selected candidate will work closely with our team on a variety of projects, including trend boards, illustrations, product designs, artwork, print applications, textile designs, presentations, product mockups, packaging/cutter guides, catalogues, social media content, and website design. Excellent customer service is also a crucial aspect of this role.

Requirements

Candidates must:

• Have confident knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
• Exhibit excellent creative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Possess Procreate and illustration skills.
• Have the ability to adapt to our house style and maintain brand guidelines.
• Have experience producing artwork for both web and print.
• Demonstrate good timekeeping and a willingness to learn and improve.
• Have the ability to produce work to tight deadlines.
• Show examples of previous work that relates to that on our websites.
• Must have a Graphic Design background.
• Efficiently use Apple Macs (PCs are not used in the studio).
• A background in Fashion would be a bonus.

The candidate should be creative, enthusiastic, and outgoing, with a strong desire to learn and demonstrate a professional, motivated attitude. Potential candidates must be confident in understanding briefs and have the ability to deconstruct the objective to produce excellent visuals.

Job Type: Freelance

Schedule: 8:45 am - 5:30 pm

Work Location: Liverpool Studio (In person)

Pay: £100.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 per week
