Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Creative & Digital space, is seeking a highly innovative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their fully remote team. Specializing in immersive experiences, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing user-centered interfaces for cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality applications, interactive installations, and other groundbreaking digital products. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of user behavior in non-traditional digital environments. You will translate complex user needs into intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for immersive digital experiences, from user research and ideation to high-fidelity prototyping and final asset delivery.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights and define user requirements.
• Create detailed user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for VR/AR applications and other immersive platforms.
• Develop intuitive and aesthetically compelling user interfaces, considering spatial design principles and interaction models specific to immersive environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, 3D artists, and engineers, to bring designs to life.
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and quality across immersive experiences.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, technical constraints, and business objectives.
• Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in UX/UI design, VR/AR, and immersive technologies.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the design team.
• Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
• Explore innovative interaction paradigms for spatial computing and mixed reality interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a significant focus on designing for interactive and immersive digital experiences (VR/AR preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality immersive design projects, demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles and visual aesthetics.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Unity/Unreal Engine for prototyping).
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Understanding of 3D principles, spatial design, and human factors in immersive environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with design systems and component-based design.
• A passion for pushing the boundaries of digital interaction and user experience.
