JOB DESCRIPTION
Cradles to Crayons (C2C), founded in 2002, provides essential items to children living in homeless or low-income situations. This part-time position (15-20 hours per week) is a 2-month assignment, primarily remote, with occasional in-person work at one of our Giving Factories in Greater Boston, Chicagoland, or Philadelphia. We are seeking a detail-oriented social media professional to assist with managing and posting across key platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Create, schedule posts, and manage campaigns for social platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages.
- Produce engaging posts and ads using provided photography and messaging.
- Ensure content is professional, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
- Provide general social media strategy support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Passion for Cradles to Crayons’ mission.
- 3+ years of experience running social media campaigns (non-profit experience is a plus).
- Strong content creation and basic design experience.
- Excellent communication and responsiveness.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-$31.00/hour based on geographic labor market. This position is not benefits-eligible.
