Job Description

PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) is an international feminist peacebuilding organisation based in Bern, Switzerland. They are seeking a social media specialist with experience in creating engaging content and developing social media strategies for political campaigns in Switzerland. The ideal candidate should share PWAG’s feminist values and contribute insights to assist in reaching audiences both in Switzerland and globally. The position will primarily be remote, with occasional office visits to Bern. Collaboration is expected to last from April to October 2026, with a potential extension to December based on discussions.

Deliverables

In close collaboration with PeaceWomen Across the Globe’s communication and network & advocacy teams, the social media specialist will:

• Support the creation, strategy, and implementation of a political campaign with provided content; close coordination with external actors is required (time frame: April-June).
• Create content, mentor, and support PWAG staff on effective social media communication and marketing (time frame: spring-autumn).
• Support social media activities for an event in October.

Requirements

• Proven track record of social media work and political campaigning in Switzerland.
• Excellent command of English and German; professional working proficiency in French (Spanish is a plus).
• Strong alignment with PWAG’s values and principles.
