Job Description

SoftClouds is looking for a Senior UI Developer who takes pride in building visually refined, high-performance interfaces for enterprise-scale applications. The candidate will play a key role in transforming detailed UX designs into pixel-perfect, scalable, and future-ready UI experiences. This role involves working with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, Frontend developers, backend developers, and product managers, to translate design wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code.

The ideal candidate should be flexible, highly technical, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. The role includes engineering robust CSS architectures, optimizing rendering performance, and improving Oracle and Salesforce front-end implementations. As a senior contributor, you will influence UI engineering standards and collaborate closely with UX and technology teams to deliver exceptional product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of responsive, visually polished, enterprise-grade UI using HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
• Engineer scalable, maintainable CSS architectures using mixins, variables, functions, and structured design methodologies.
• Translate high-fidelity UX designs into production-ready, component-driven interfaces with exceptional attention to detail.
• Optimize CSS rendering performance to ensure fast, smooth, and stable front-end interactions across browsers and devices.
• Solve complex layout challenges using advanced grid frameworks, expressions, and modern styling techniques.
• Customize and refine UI components for Oracle and Salesforce applications to address sophisticated business workflows.
• Apply smart, efficient coding practices by leveraging AI-assisted development tools for prototyping, debugging, and UI optimization.
• Collaborate closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation.
• Provide leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and guiding junior developers on front-end best practices.
• Document reusable patterns, CSS architecture decisions, and UI development standards to strengthen team maturity.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of proven experience as a UI Developer.
• Mastery of modern CSS methodologies, including:
• Grid frameworks & Flexbox
• Mixins, expressions, variables
• Functions, nesting, modular design
• CSS rendering performance optimization
• Proven ability to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, enterprise-ready UI aligned with UX specifications.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery for implementing dynamic UI behaviors.
• Experience customizing UI for Oracle and Salesforce platforms.
• Advanced understanding of cross-browser behavior, responsive design principles, and layout debugging.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Expertise in Git, including branching strategies, conflict resolution, code reviews, and repository best practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and UX alignment.
• Experience with basic front-end build and SCSS compilation tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Gulp) to ensure optimized and production-ready UI code.
• Proven experience with performance tuning and SEO optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding developers, improving code quality, and elevating UI engineering practices.
• Relevant certifications in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Good or Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of React or Vue.
• Experience with Storybook, design systems, or component-driven UI development.
• Familiarity with TypeScript or UI testing tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
