We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Specialist to support a political campaign’s digital outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance the campaign’s visibility, engagement, and public relations. This role requires a creative thinker with expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management tools to effectively communicate the campaign’s message across various platforms. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence public opinion and engage with diverse communities through innovative online campaigns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related roles within political or advocacy campaigns.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to create engaging multimedia content including videos, photography, and graphics tailored for various platforms.
• Passion for politics or civic engagement is highly desirable; commitment to ethical communication standards is essential.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with campaign goals, including content planning and scheduling across platforms Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Create compelling video content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to enhance campaign messaging and branding.
• Conduct social listening to gauge public sentiment, identify trending topics, and respond to community inquiries promptly to foster positive relationships.
• Engage in relationship management by interacting with followers, influencers, media outlets, and community groups to expand outreach efforts.
