Job Description

We are an award-winning social media agency looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team. As a boutique agency, we work with a select number of clients across various industries - from scaling startups to household brands. Our client list is intentionally kept small to allow our team to deeply engage with each account and familiarize themselves with the brand. This position is fully remote; however, only candidates located in Ontario will be considered. The current role is part-time freelance, with flexibility for the right candidate, and the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Requirements

Some responsibilities include:

• Designing eye-catching templates and graphics for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Collaborating with our designer, social media, and content teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
• Ensuring all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
• Working with client design teams to create and refresh assets.
• Maintaining client asset banks and branding guidelines in our internal systems.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest design trends and social media best practices.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our clients’ social media presence.

Skills & experience you should have:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a social media or marketing agency.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
• Understanding of social media platforms and their design requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative on creative projects.
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing software would be an asset.

This role is designed for candidates who reside in Ontario, and while remote, the role has specific geographic limitations.
