Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative YouTube Editor / Social Media Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and producing engaging video content, editing footage, and overseeing social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in video editing, graphic design, and content creation, with a keen eye for visual storytelling across various digital channels. Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality / high engagement videos for YouTube channels, including post-production tasks such as color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics.
• Plan for daily uploads and review analytics to increase growth and engagement.
• Manage and update social media accounts by creating compelling content tailored to each platform’s audience.
• Develop engaging visual content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with the content team to plan and execute creative concepts for videos, thumbnails, banners, and promotional materials.
• Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms through effective graphic design and typography.
• Utilize content management systems to organize and schedule posts efficiently.
• Handle filming, videography, and photo editing tasks to produce original multimedia content.
• Manage file transfers via FTP or cloud-based systems ensuring secure storage of assets.
• Stay updated on social media trends and platform algorithms to optimize content reach and engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Strong background in photo editing and manipulation with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, or Adobe Bridge.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles using Adobe Illustrator or InDesign.
• Knowledge of content creation strategies across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Experience working with content management systems and scheduling tools is preferred.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects, motion graphics work, or social media campaigns is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
