Job Description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Specialist to develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms. The goal is to enhance brand awareness and engagement through innovative content and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create and manage engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, and articles, aligned with brand voice and objectives.
• Capture and edit videos and images for use in digital and print campaigns.
• Design and produce social media graphics, digital ads, and print collateral such as flyers and brochures.
• Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize content and strategies.
• Stay up to date with trends in social media, digital marketing, and design.
• Participate in the customer testing process and record and edit videos for customer use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with strong skills in Adobe InDesign. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Ability to shoot and edit photos and videos for professional use.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong photography skills with an eye for visual storytelling.
• Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment

The role is based on-site, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The Social Media Specialist will report to the manager and will be the sole person responsible for social media, requiring independence but offering significant control over operations. The company is rapidly growing, providing opportunities to contribute to its expansion. Flexibility is offered for personal commitments such as doctor’s appointments and family responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
