Job Description

Eloquent Dance, a multi-award-winning organisation empowering the next generation through creativity, community, and culture, is seeking a creative and proactive Freelance Social Media & Video Content Creator. This role is aimed at capturing the heart of our movement and bringing our story to life online. The successful candidate will play a key part in enhancing our digital presence across Instagram and TikTok by producing compelling video content and engaging a wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Film, edit, and produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments, rehearsals, classes, performances, and events that reflect the energy and impact of Eloquent Dance.
• Plan and schedule content in line with our campaigns, events, and programme launches.
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative content ideas, series, and social media campaigns.
• Edit videos utilizing strong pacing, captions, trending sounds, and transitions tailored to social media platforms.
• Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates for relevant and engaging content creation.
• Assist with posting, scheduling, and managing content across social media channels.
• Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, mission, and ethos of Eloquent Dance.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating Instagram Reels and TikTok content (portfolio required).
• Strong video editing skills using tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, Canva, or similar.
• A good understanding of social media growth, storytelling, and audience engagement.
• A creative eye for capturing dance, movement, and live performance.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team.
• Strong organization and ability to meet deadlines.
• Passion for the arts, creativity, and empowering young people.
