convert one Adobe InDesign INDD file to IMDF format (20 seconds work)
I need a graphic designer to convert one Adobe InDesign INDD file (4.5MB) to IMDF format. The goal is to make the file compatible with Scribus software. The job should be VERY quick to do, because it is essentially just a conversion. Because I can’t examine my INDD file any longer, I would appreciate it if before exporting the IDML, you do the following quick checks:
- Replace any missing fonts (Type → Find/Replace Font)
- Clear all style overrides (Select All → Paragraph Styles panel → Clear Overrides)
- Show Text Threads and confirm the main story flows cleanly
(View → Extras → Show Text Threads) - Delete any stray or empty text frames (especially off the pasteboard)
- Save As → IDML
No other cleanup or design work is required.
This is a personal project and can be completed fully remotely. I am ready to make a paid hire and would like the work to be completed as soon as possible.
