Job Description

This is a remote position. At Autonomic Mind, we are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join one of our partner companies in the automotive industry in the US. This role is ideal for someone who is starting to consolidate their career in UX/UI design, has strong English communication skills, and has already worked on digital products targeting the US market. The designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered experiences, conducting research with US-based users, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. While experience in the automotive industry is a plus, we are also open to candidates coming from SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or other B2C product environments, as these backgrounds bring valuable insights into user journeys and digital experience design.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar).
  • Experience in user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to design responsive, accessible user interfaces.
  • Strong English communication skills (C1).
  • Prior experience working on SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or B2C products.

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to the automotive industry or marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React) for collaboration with dev teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and improve user interfaces and experiences for digital platforms.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with US-based users.
  • Translate business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs.
  • Collaborate in English with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure design consistency and adherence to design system/brand guidelines.

  • Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related (not mandatory).
  • Modality: Remote from Colombia.
