Title: Amazing Eyes
Logline: When a pedantic movie star invites a timid fan into his home, they form an unsettling bond shaped by his quiet psychological control.
One Word on Theme: Submission

Tone: Balances between an exciting whirlwind romance and the subtle sinister aspects of intimacy, power, codependency and ultimately, submission.
- Jonny Greenwood – Phantom Thread and Nelson Riddle’s Lolita (1962) are the closest tonal references
Music Direction: We want something ‘beautiful’ for the film’s romanticism, but other tracks that give way to haunting, discomforting beats of control and manipulation, and some that balance both. We’d also like a refined older chamber orchestra feel similar to the references above.
The film is set in England. One of the lead characters is a wealthy actor who feels like an anachronism from the 1950s/60s.
We’re thinking along lines of chamber orchestra, intimate strings & piano.
