Job Description

Lizard Marketing is a digital marketing agency built for home services businesses. We’re looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to help us build and design Smart Sites — our AI-ready Webflow websites designed to rank, convert, and perform in an era of AI-driven search. This isn’t a traditional design role; you’ll be working at the intersection of visual design, AI tooling, and modern web development. If you’re fluent in Webflow, comfortable working alongside AI systems, and obsessed with clean, conversion-focused design — this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Smart Sites using Webflow, following brand guidelines and conversion best practices
  • Translate client branding, copy, and strategy into polished, high-performing websites
  • Collaborate with account managers and SEO teams to ensure design supports on-page and AI search visibility
  • Incorporate AI tools and Claude into your workflow for content structuring, design ideation, and efficiency
  • Create visual assets for websites, landing pages, and social media
  • Maintain design consistency across multi-location client builds (1, 5, and 15-location site tiers)
  • Contribute to internal design systems and reusable Webflow components

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating web design, branding, and digital asset creation
  • Proficiency in Webflow — this is non-negotiable
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) integrated into a real design or content workflow
  • Solid grasp of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout for the web
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Figma
  • Understanding of basic HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects independently and hit deadlines
  • Bonus: familiarity with home services industry, SEO fundamentals, or AEO/GEO concepts
