About the Role

The social media manager will plan, schedule, and create social media copy and graphics to promote content, products, and thought leadership while growing our community of followers. This is a 3 month temporary, part time position (20 hours/week) starting in June.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Regularly develop and post content to all social platforms.
  • Use Canva to create thoughtful and shareable content appropriate for specific networks to both spread our brand and our content and links.
  • Pull and edit clips from webinar recordings to repurpose into video content.
  • Ensure a thought leadership approach is taken when creating copy that represents our brand and builds engagement through meaningful conversations.
  • Review community engagement activity and respond professionally when appropriate.
  • Work alongside other marketers and content producers to share awareness of upcoming events and funding deadlines.
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers, including building our user groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Pardot, HootSuite, Sendible, and other social posting/monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com for project management.
  • High attention to detail and an ability to select the key information to share from lengthy content.
  • Experience with current B2B social media marketing trends and strategies.
  • Ability to produce polished first-draft social copy for review.
  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation marketing, inbound marketing, and blogging.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
