This is a remote position.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive, and scalable product experiences. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Growth teams to design user-centric interfaces across web and mobile products—owning design from problem discovery to final delivery. This role is ideal for someone who understands both UX thinking and clean UI execution.

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking and polished UI work
• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, design systems)
• Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and usability
• Ability to think in systems, not just screens

Nice to Have

• Experience designing SaaS, EdTech, or marketplace products
• Basic understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS concepts)
• Experience working in fast-moving startup environments

What You’ll Do

User Experience & Product Design

• Translate product requirements and user needs into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on insights
• Design end-to-end experiences across learner, employer, and internal platforms

UI & Visual Design

• Design clean, modern, and consistent interfaces aligned with Utiva’s brand
• Build and maintain design systems, components, and style guides
• Ensure design consistency across all products and platforms

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Managers to shape product discovery and solution design
• Collaborate with Engineers to ensure designs are feasible and well-implemented
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to product decisions
