Music Cover Art Graphic Designer (Mid-Level, Remote) – Hiring ASAP

I’m an independent music artist looking for a mid-level graphic designer who specializes in modern music cover art. This is a fully remote, freelance role focused on creating eye-catching single covers for digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.). If you’re serious about your craft, hungry for consistent work, and want your designs on real releases, this is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Design original single cover art for digital releases (no AI-generated artwork).

• Work in a modern, clean, and visually strong style that fits current music trends.

• Prepare final files optimized for streaming platforms (correct size, resolution, safe zones).

• Communicate clearly, take feedback professionally, and deliver on agreed deadlines.

• Potentially develop a visual “series” look if we continue working together on multiple singles.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating music cover art, preferably for hip-hop, rap, or modern genres.

• Portfolio that shows strong composition, typography, color, and modern aesthetics.

• Ability to work independently and still collaborate well with direction and feedback.

• Use of professional tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.) — no AI artwork.

• Reliable, responsive communication and respect for deadlines.

Budget

I’m looking for a mid-level designer who creates modern, original, non-AI music cover art and is interested in building a long-term relationship. For designers whose work is a great fit and who can handle multiple future projects, I’m open to discussing higher rates over time.
