Job Description

ProDeck Outdoor Living is seeking a creative freelance content creator to assist in telling the story of the company as it builds custom decks, covered patios, and full outdoor living spaces in the Knoxville and Maryville area. This is an opportunity to work closely with the owner, Jose Martinez, to develop content that positions him as an industry leader and entrepreneur.

The role involves creating various types of content including:

  • Jose’s Personal Brand: Film and produce content featuring Jose, including business advice clips and behind-the-scenes looks at his company.
  • On-Site Construction Content: Document the construction process, showcasing crews and craftsmanship.
  • Team & Culture Content: Capture the personality and culture of the ProDeck crew.
  • Monthly Content Calendar: Own the content calendar with consistent posting across social media platforms.
  • Podcast & Long Form Video: Help produce podcast-style conversations that highlight Jose’s mindset and journey.

Requirements

  • Based in or near Knoxville, TN for on-location shooting.
  • Experience managing Instagram and Facebook accounts for brands or personal projects.
  • Ability to confidently create and edit Reels and short form video content.
  • Organized enough to own a monthly content calendar.
  • Proactive in staying updated with trends and introducing innovative ideas.
  • Desire for a long term relationship rather than a short contract.
  • Genuine excitement about building brand and personal brand.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month.
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule and professional development assistance.
