Job Description
As 3DXTECH continues to expand its marketing efforts, we are seeking a part-time Social Media Specialist to support our digital presence and audience engagement. This role is ideal for a college student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and brand development. This is a temporary summer position with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Content and Brand Manager to execute day-to-day social media activities, maintain a consistent posting schedule, and actively engage with our audience. This position plays a key role in building brand awareness, strengthening community engagement, and supporting the execution of our broader marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish content across all platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok.
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence (approximately 7 posts per week across platforms).
- Monitor social channels daily and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
Content Creation Support
- Assist in creating social media graphics and short-form video content.
- Collaborate with the Content and Brand Manager on content planning and execution.
- Help capture and edit content for social media campaigns and day-to-day posts.
Community Engagement
- Actively engage with followers by responding, commenting, and participating in relevant conversations.
- Interact with tagged posts and industry-related content to increase visibility.
- Support efforts to grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
Content Planning & Coordination
- Work alongside the Content and Brand Manager to maintain a structured content calendar.
- Help brainstorm and execute creative campaign ideas.
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging guidelines.
General Marketing Support
- Assist with additional marketing projects as needed, including events, campaigns, and internal initiatives.
Requirements
- Content creation and planning experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom).
- Experience using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Knowledge of social media content planners (ex: Sprout Social, Planable).
- Proficiency in video editing software.
Additional Information
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
