We are Jamaican True Stories, a digital media brand centered on Jamaican folklore, spirituality, mystery storytelling, dream interpretation, and cinematic short-form content. As the founder, I am also developing my personal brand alongside the company and serve as the face of our platform. We seek a long-term content operator and personal brand manager to help expand both the company and my personal platforms on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. The ideal expert will manage everything from strategy and editing to community engagement and reporting. Your role will include editing and posting videos, crafting hooks and captions, visual and aesthetic direction, content planning, and positioning the personal brand within the broader storytelling universe of JTS. You should understand internet culture, audience psychology, premium storytelling, Jamaican and Caribbean culture, and how to build a consistent and strategic digital media brand.

I need someone skilled in founder-led content strategy, short-form video editing, personal brand positioning, content calendar management, TikTok + Instagram growth, on-camera image/aesthetic direction, hook writing, caption writing, community engagement, analytics/reporting, Jamaican/Caribbean cultural understanding, and storytelling/suspense pacing. This role is bigger than editing. I want someone who understands internet culture, audience psychology, premium storytelling, and how to build a serious media brand with consistency and strategy.
