Job Description
This is a remote position. This is a strategic and execution-focused Social Media Manager role responsible for managing social media initiatives across multiple platforms, with a strong emphasis on paid advertising, audience growth, and campaign performance. This is not an entry-level position.
The role collaborates closely with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to support brand visibility, customer engagement, lead generation, and business growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing social media strategies and paid advertising campaigns.
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager is required; experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Proven understanding of audience targeting, campaign optimization, and performance analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and campaigns in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create professional and effective messaging.
- Experience analyzing data and making informed decisions based on campaign performance.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for results.
- Adaptable to changing priorities, business needs, and evolving social media trends.
- Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on content scheduling or community management without ownership of campaign strategy or paid advertising may not be the right fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Create compelling social media content, campaign messaging, and ad copy tailored to target audiences.
- Manage audience targeting strategies, including custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and retargeting initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance, engagement metrics, conversions, and return on investment.
- Conduct testing and optimization efforts to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
- Manage multiple campaigns and social initiatives simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.
- Analyze performance data and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align social media initiatives with broader marketing goals.
- Stay informed on platform updates, industry trends, and emerging social media best practices.
- Maintain organized documentation, reporting, and tracking of campaign performance.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST (1 hour paid lunch).
