Job Description

Hello from Stupid Simple Tools — We’re a young, (but not too young), engineering and design company that releases beautiful, functional, and innovative tools for professionals!

We like to think of ourselves as a collaborative group of artists, designers, and engineers who work together to create high quality, kickass products!

This position is for a Graphic Designer, who will work under our amazing lead graphic designer, Dayan. We are seeking a part-time employee who can commit scheduled time each week working alongside our team on current projects. This position is hybrid, based out of our St. Pete workshop, so applicants should live close enough to come into the office to work and collaborate.

Requirements

  • Ability to contribute to product development from an industrial design perspective, including creating laser engraved designs
  • Experience in product photography for main product gallery images and promotional material
  • Skills in packaging design for ornamental printing on product packaging
  • Great copywriting skills are a huge plus
  • Experience in web page design (graphics only) and improving existing websites
  • Ability to update social media pages, design, and publish content for Instagram and Facebook
  • Skills in taking and editing product photos, including coming into our machine shop for social content
  • Experience generating ad creative for Facebook and Instagram ads in collaboration with the advertising manager
  • Willingness to provide input in product development discussions and marketing planning
