Job Description

The UI/UX Designer role is a remote position focused on evaluating AI-generated outputs in the domain of UI/UX design. Reviewers are responsible for grading the quality of work, adherence to constraints, and compliance with tooling standards, while also flagging issues related to production readiness and documenting necessary corrections for training purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Review AI outputs against current UI/UX design craft and tooling standards for UI/UX Designer assignments.
  • Grade composition, constraint adherence, and production-readiness on a structured rubric.
  • Flag tooling-specific failures (file format, scale, naming, layer hygiene) with severity tags.
  • Document corrected approaches or references for the modeling team to enhance training.
  • Resolve disputed creative judgments based on published references or firm style guides.
  • Maintain reviewer-quality scores through inter-rater calibration cycles.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio or production experience in UI/UX design or a related creative discipline.
  • Hands-on familiarity with standard tooling for UI/UX design.
  • Ability to apply multi-page rubrics consistently across lengthy batches.
  • Clear written reasoning identifying craft issues and applicable standards.
  • Reliable asynchronous availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Example Tasks

  • Grade AI-generated UI/UX design output against project briefs, assessing craft, constraints, and production readiness.
  • Flag tooling-specific failures such as incorrect file formats or naming conventions with severity indicators.
  • Adjudicate disputes between reviewers using firm style guides.
  • Audit batches of 25 assets for consistency with rubrics and report deviations to program leads.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in studios, agencies, or in-house teams with a track record of shipping production work.
  • Prior experience reviewing AI-assisted creative tooling and understanding its failure modes.
  • Familiarity with AAA or feature-grade pipelines and asset standards.

Work Model

The position is remote and US-eligible. It is an independent specialist contractor role, and applicants must have authorization to work in the US.

Compensation

Hourly rate will be confirmed following the interview process.
