Job Description

Mastermind Astro is seeking a freelance Social Media Manager/Content Manager to grow the brand visibility, reach, and engagement across various social media platforms, primarily Instagram. The role involves managing social strategy, creating engaging content, and collaborating with the Founder to align social media activities with brand voice and goals.

Responsibilities

• Grow brand presence across Instagram and other necessary platforms.
• Focus on creating and promoting IG shorts.
• Repost existing content such as reels and posts.
• Stay updated on evolving social media trends.
• Collaborate with the Founder to develop a content calendar.
• Assist with marketing tactics and campaigns to increase the email list.
• Plan and manage LinkedIn launch and messaging.
• Track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media accounts and growing audiences.
• Strong skills in creating short-form video content (filming, editing, trend awareness).
• Experience with Instagram and LinkedIn; knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube is secondary.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs from the Founder.
• Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Proactive in anticipating next steps and taking initiative.
• Experience with Canva.
• Basic technical/web content editing skills (Wix).
• Experience with managing content on internal storage systems (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with CMS and/or growing an email list.
• Background in working with early-stage or founder-led brands.
• Basic knowledge of astrology.
