Job Description

The role is for a part-time Social Media Manager for a new wellness brand focused on brain health supplements. The manager will be responsible for building a strong social media presence and creating a sustainable content strategy that translates complex neuroscience concepts into engaging content. The position requires strategic thinking, copywriting skills, and the ability to drive brand growth with minimal direct involvement from the founder.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in social media marketing (preferred).
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze content performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of Wellness Space: Personal experience or deep familiarity with wellness concepts.
• Copywriting Skills: Ability to write engaging hooks, captions, and information that convert without being clickbaity.
• Trust Building: Understanding how to incorporate expert evidence and credibility into content.
• Social SEO & Analytics: Familiarity with optimizing content for engagement and data analysis for strategy refinement.
• Content Creation: Ability to produce content, including video editing or graphic design, when needed.
• Regulatory Considerations: Familiarity with wellness/supplement claims regulations.
• Independent Operation: Ability to work independently after onboarding into the brand’s mission and voice.
• Business Registration: Operate as a registered business entity (LLC, Corporation, or Sole Proprietorship).

Additional Information

This position is a remote, independent contractor role, with a flexible schedule and a monthly payment range of $600 to $1,200 depending on experience. Applicants should provide a portfolio and proposed monthly rates when applying.
