Job Description

AdWater Media is seeking a Visual Communications Designer (Graphic Designer) to support our creative team on an hourly, project-by-project basis. This part-time contract role, with approximately 10–20 hours per week based on project needs, is ideal for a freelance or independent designer who can work remotely and has consistent weekday availability, particularly between 10 AM–4 PM ET. The designer will work on a variety of creative projects, ranging from campaign assets to presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred
• Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, polished visual communication
• Highly proficient in design software: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong PowerPoint/presentation design skills; must have your own design software, including Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to work within existing brand systems and develop new creative directions
• Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
• Comfortable receiving creative direction and incorporating feedback
• Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• Comfortable jumping into projects already in progress
• Strong communicator who works well with project managers, creative directors, and other designers

Nice to have: Experience with Figma, After Effects, Premiere, experiential design, and/or 3D rendering.

Additional Information

This is a remote position with flexible hours, specifically seeking someone with reliable weekday availability from approximately 10 AM–4 PM ET for collaboration and responsiveness to project needs. The expected workload is approximately 10–20 hours per week, with the potential for the relationship to grow. Candidates are requested to share their portfolios during the application process.
