Job Description
Amari Productions is a large photo & video studio specializing in weddings across the US. We are seeking a mid-level graphic designer with strong Canva design skills, an eye for beauty, and the ability to take direction and run with it. This role also includes some marketing coordination and execution, with director-level strategy guidance and review on all projects. The ideal candidate will manage their time wisely and take initiative.
Some use of AI for inspiration is acceptable, but candidates must design elements from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Creating thoughtful designs in Canva, such as logos, newsletters, and ads, and applying them to email marketing, social media, etc.
- Building out Mailchimp campaigns, from layout and triggers to text and graphics.
- Optimizing and updating online listings.
- Building Google Forms surveys.
- Website updates in Showit.
- General marketing coordination tasks.
- Project management.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design.
- 1 year of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or related field.
- Degree in graphic design or related field.
- Eye for beauty & what’s trending in weddings, fashion, and interior design.
- Extremely strong graphic design skills in Canva.
- Understanding of spacing, font pairings, color theory & other graphic design principles.
- Excellent communicator.
- Figure-It-Out attitude.
- Follows directions meticulously.
- Any web design experience, preferably with Showit.
Compensation
- Work remotely.
- Set your own hours.
- 10 hours per week.
- $30-$44/hr based on experience.
- Opportunity to increase hours for the right candidate in the future.
