Job Description

retailcloud is a cloud-based retail point of sale solution for Android and Windows, providing businesses of all sizes access to various tablet, Windows, and phone solutions with API integration to ERP and ecommerce systems. We help retailers increase sales, manage inventory, and collect valuable customer data through our omni-channel apps, APIs, payments, and analytics applications. The position is located at UL Cyberpark, Kozhikode, Kerala.

retailcloud is looking for a Motivated UI/UX Designer with strong graphic design skills. Knowledge of branding and familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows are essential for this role, which aims to enhance design consistency and provide continuous support across the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant design degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in design.
• Relevant portfolio, internship, academic, or personal project experience may be considered for fresh graduates.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and design thinking.
• Knowledge of creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Good understanding of graphic design principles including typography, layout, imagery, color, composition, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Working knowledge of design systems, reusable components, variables, design tokens, and UI libraries.
• Understanding of responsive design principles across web, tablet, and mobile.
• Basic understanding of accessibility and usability principles.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and prompt-driven design workflows.
• Ability to use AI tools for ideation, research, UI exploration, content creation, prototyping, and design iteration.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping/development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Codex, Stitch, Figma Make, or similar tools.
• Ability to produce experience workflows and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate and test ideas.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Openness to feedback and comfort working in a fast, iterative design process.
• Curiosity about generative AI and AI-assisted creation workflows.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX and graphic design work.
