Job Description

We are currently seeking candidates for a Digital UX/UI Designer opportunity with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Digital UX/UI Designer will support the design of intuitive web and mobile experiences while working closely with senior designers, developers, and business partners. This is a 6-month contract position with potential to extend, paying $35-$40/hour depending on experience. This is a part-time opportunity with a schedule of approximately 24 hours per week. The Digital UI/UX Designer will work onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Boston, MA. Candidates must be local to the Greater Boston area and willing to work onsite three days per week in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile experiences.
  • Support user research, usability testing, and other UX discovery activities.
  • Develop user flows, personas, journey maps, and related design documentation.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and business partners throughout the design process.
  • Incorporate usability, accessibility, and brand standards into digital designs.
  • Participate in design reviews and revise work based on feedback.
  • Prepare design files and assets for development handoff.
  • Stay current on UX/UI tools, technologies, and design practices.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of UX/UI design or related experience, including internships, freelance work, or relevant projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design and prototyping tools.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles, accessibility, and user-centered design.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or a comparable CMS.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
