Position: Social Media Manager – Pure Barre Aventura (Independent Contractor)

Location: Aventura, FL (flexible/remote, with occasional in-studio filming)

Job Type: Contract / Freelance (1099 Independent Contractor)

Pay: $200/week flat rate

Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness, with 600+ studio locations across the United States and Canada. This role involves managing our Instagram and TikTok presence, planning, creating, and posting engaging content while also working independently with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• A portfolio or examples of previous social media work, ideally in fitness, wellness, or a related lifestyle industry.
• Strong content creation and video editing skills (Reels/TikTok-style content).
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok best practices, trends, and analytics.
• Self-motivated and reliable – comfortable managing your own schedule and deliverables independently.
• Good communication with studio management on content planning and scheduling.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and maintain a content calendar across Instagram and TikTok.
• Film and edit Reels and TikTok videos (class highlights, instructor features, member moments, studio culture).
• Create and post Stories and carousel posts.
• Engage with the community – respond to comments and DMs, foster engagement.
• Track performance and engagement metrics, adjusting content strategy accordingly.
• Stay on top of platform trends (audio, formats, etc.) and bring fresh ideas to the studio’s content.
• Coordinate with studio staff and instructors to capture content around classes and events.
