Job Description

Kraus Marketing is seeking a talented and versatile Full Time Contracted/Freelance Designer to join our creative team. This role will work across a diverse range of clients and industries, creating marketing and promotional materials, including branding, social campaigns, websites, digital marketing, motion graphics, and print collateral. Candidates must be comfortable creating materials for tobacco and cannabis industries. The designer will collaborate with creative, strategy, digital, and account teams to concept and execute engaging design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Concept and design creative across various clients and industries, including tobacco and cannabis.

· Create social media graphics, digital ads, email campaigns, and other marketing assets.

· Develop logos, brand identities, brand guidelines, and supporting visual systems.

· Design websites, landing pages, and digital experiences with a strong understanding of UX/UI principles.

· Create print and digital collateral, including brochures, flyers, presentations, direct mail, and signage.

· Refine creative concepts based on client briefs, strategy, and feedback.

· Develop campaign concepts that translate cohesively across multiple channels.

· Create motion graphics and animated content for social media and digital advertising.

· Prepare artwork for print and digital production.

· Collaborate on website and digital layouts using Figma.

· Design responsive email layouts for platforms such as HubSpot while basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

· Collaborate with clients and present creative work as needed.

· Use AI tools for ideation, exploration, and production efficiencies.

· Maintain brand consistency and adapt creative across different platforms.

· Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Requirements

· 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in an agency or multi-brand environment.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work across branding, digital, social, web, motion, and print.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.

· Strong motion graphics and animation skills, with experience creating content for digital platforms.

· Experience with Figma and responsive web design.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.

· Comfortable working with AI tools in creative workflows.

· Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.

· Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot or MoEngage.

· Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

· Understanding of print production and preparing production-ready files.

· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

· Comfortable receiving creative direction and collaborating with a larger team.

· Must be comfortable working on tobacco- and cannabis-related accounts.

Bonus Skills

· Experience developing brand identities and visual guidelines.

· Strong UX/UI and digital design expertise.

· Video editing experience.

· Experience designing integrated marketing campaigns.

· Experience with gamification or interactive digital experiences.

· Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools for various aspects of the creative process.

· Previous experience in regulated industries such as tobacco, cannabis, or alcohol.

· Understanding of digital marketing strategies and how creative supports campaign performance.

Compensation and Work Details

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
