Job Description
We’re looking for a mid-level freelance Graphic Designer to work on packaging and branding projects with us. Our style is bright, fun, and bold, so we want someone whose work already leans that direction, not someone who has to be talked into it.
The role involves working with our creative team on packaging and identity projects for a mix of clients, mostly product brands that want to stand out on the shelf. This freelance/contract role is project-based with ongoing opportunities.
Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing packaging, including dielines, label systems, and final print-ready files
- Building out brand identities: logos, color palettes, typography, supporting elements
- Putting together brand guidelines for consistent identity
- Taking feedback and revising concepts
- Turning client briefs into design concepts
- Presenting work and explaining design choices
- Preparing accurate print-ready files and collaborating with vendors or production partners
What You Bring:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in packaging and branding design with a portfolio
- Working knowledge of packaging production processes
- Experience in developing a brand identity from concept to full guidelines
- Ability to manage time and deadlines effectively as a contractor
- A portfolio that reflects a bright, modern, and bold aesthetic
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma
- Strong illustration skills, expertise in photo editing and manipulation
- Capability to translate client briefs into innovative visual solutions
- Knowledge of digital design principles (UI/UX, motion graphics, web design) is a plus
