Job Description

InOnIt is looking for a creative, outgoing, and confident NYC-based person to help us create content for our Instagram and TikTok. We’re preparing for the launch of InOnIt, an app designed to help people discover great deals, experiences, events, and things to do around them. The role involves creating fun, natural, and engaging content.

Requirements for the Role

• Very outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers
• Confident in talking to people and conducting street interviews
• Creative and able to independently come up with content ideas
• Comfortable filming and editing short-form videos
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok
• NYC-based and knowledgeable about the city
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Previous social media or content creation experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities

• Create short-form content for Instagram and TikTok
• Film street interviews and people-focused content around NYC
• Engage confidently with people and ask fun, engaging questions
• Develop creative content ideas
• Film and edit Reels and TikToks
• Stay updated with current TikTok and Instagram trends
• Help build InOnIt’s social media presence from the ground up

• Freelance / Contract
• 1-month initial contract
• Pay: $17/hour
• 5 hours per week
• Flexible schedule – you choose when you work
• No fixed working hours
• Content creation based in NYC required
• Potential for continued work with InOnIt after initial contract
