Job Summary
Crispy Cones is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Specialist to help bring our brand to life across digital and print platforms. This role will support the creation of marketing materials, social media content, in-store signage, digital assets, and other brand initiatives across our growing franchise system. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a solid understanding of brand consistency, and the ability to turn ideas into engaging, on-brand visuals. We’re looking for someone who is eager to grow, works well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and is excited to contribute fresh ideas to the Crispy Cones brand.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design digital marketing materials, including flyers, posters, advertisements, and signage for in-store and community relations.
- Assist in the visual design and layout of the Crispy Cones mobile app and in-store kiosks, ensuring a user-friendly and visually consistent interface.
- Collaborate with the marketing and executive teams to develop visual assets for new campaigns, product launches, or seasonal promotions.
- Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the Crispy Cones brand by ensuring consistency in style, color, and tone across all design materials.
- Prepare and deliver final designs in appropriate formats for printing, publishing, and web use.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay up to date on design trends, software tools, and best practices relevant to food service and retail branding.
- Perform additional design-related tasks or projects assigned by the direct supervisor to support team and company objectives.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of design principles and best practices for both digital and print materials.
- Understanding of brand identity and the importance of maintaining visual consistency across platforms.
- Aware of current graphic design, social media, and visual marketing trends.
- Knowledge of preparing and formatting design files for various digital and print applications.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience creating digital and print materials, including social media graphics, advertisements, signage, flyers, menus, and promotional materials.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, including proofreading and reviewing designs for accuracy and consistency.
- Experience with Canva, Figma, photography, video editing, or motion graphics is a plus.

- Ability to translate concepts and marketing objectives into engaging, on-brand visual designs.
- Ability to follow established brand guidelines while contributing fresh and creative ideas.
- Ability to balance creativity with brand consistency across a growing multi-location brand.

- Ability to receive and apply creative feedback and make revisions efficiently.

- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, grow, and develop as a designer.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–2 years of graphic design experience preferred, including internships, freelance work, or relevant school projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and proficiency in typography, layout, composition, and brand-focused design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced marketing or creative environment preferred.
Other Information
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
