Cinematic YouTube Video Editor for Yacht & Sea Travel Channel

Saltwater View is a new YouTube channel built around original yacht, sea, and Mediterranean travel footage. I am looking for a creative video editor to turn raw footage into cinematic, engaging YouTube videos of at least 12 minutes. The work includes reviewing and selecting footage, building a clear story, editing for pacing, color grading, sound design, and preparing the final video for YouTube.

Experience with travel, sailing, nature, or documentary content would be valuable. I would like to begin with one paid video, with the potential for an ongoing collaboration as the channel grows. Please share two long-form videos you personally edited, explain your role in each, and include your estimated turnaround time for a 12–15 minute video and your preferred process for receiving and organising raw footage.

About the client
I’m David, a yacht crew member and the creator of Saltwater View. The channel will follow the places I travel, starting with footage I’ve filmed while working at sea and expanding wherever my travels take me. I want to capture the experience of each place through its coastline, water, landscapes, journeys, and everyday moments. I film the original material myself and am looking for a creative editor who can help shape it into compelling long-form YouTube videos. I’d like to start with one paid project and build an ongoing working relationship with the right person as the channel develops.
