Job Description

Sweat Yoga is seeking an independent social media freelancer to manage content creation and community engagement across its three Los Angeles studios. The role will involve developing content from concept through publication, capturing studio experiences, and creating engaging content that reflects the brand’s yoga and wellness community.

• Film photo and video content at Sweat Yoga studios, including classes, teachers, events, and community moments.
• Edit and deliver Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short-form content.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create monthly content calendars based on classes, trainings, events, promotions, and campaigns.
• Manage and respond to social media comments and direct messages in a warm and timely manner.
• Escalate client questions to the appropriate internal team members.
• Write captions and suggest relevant trends and creative content ideas.
• Provide a monthly performance recap, including successful content and recommendations for the following month.

Requirements

• Strong short-form video filming and editing skills.
• Access to personal filming equipment and editing software.
• Strong visual judgment and a friendly, natural writing style.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Comfortable directing people and filming on-camera talent.
• Reliable transportation between Sweat Yoga’s Los Angeles studio locations.
• Experience working with fitness, yoga, or wellness brands is preferred.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour.
• Expected hours: approximately 5 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule arranged around scheduled shoot days.
