Job Description

Helping Hands Family (HHF) is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to manage and grow the organization’s online presence across multiple social media platforms. The role will develop audience-focused content, strengthen engagement, promote HHF’s brand and culture, and highlight clinic, community, educational, employee, and patient/family stories.

• Manage HHF’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Oversee daily social media activity, community engagement, comments, and messages.
• Create content that reflects HHF’s brand, expertise, culture, and communities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to respond to questions and provide accurate information.
• Grow HHF’s social media audiences and improve engagement.
• Develop relationships with local influencers, community organizations, referral partners, and other relevant groups.
• Identify opportunities to share stories from clinics, communities, employees, patients, and families.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
• Strong knowledge of social media trends, platforms, and best practices.
• Availability to work 20–30 hours per week.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and the ability to develop innovative content ideas.
• Experience using social media management and analytics tools.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to visit clinic locations to create photo and video content.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Information

This is a 1099 contract/freelance position requiring 20–30 hours per week. The role is not eligible for benefits.
