I’m Bryan Panks, an Academic Course Leader specializing in Animation with a strong track record in course design, pedagogy, and cross-institution collaboration. I enjoy shaping curricula that blend creative practice with rigorous assessment, and I’m committed to fostering innovative ways for students to place animation within real-world contexts. I currently lead and collaborate across multiple animation programs and partner with industry to drive practice-led learning.
Upcoming projects include developing an animated TV series with Japanese partners. My past credits span animated content for Channel 4 and ITV, and I’ve supported major learners and staff as an External Examiner and Link Tutor. I’m passionate about exploring place, space, and animation in both teaching and research, and I actively pursue opportunities that bridge academia and industry.
