    uniE621 Rolling Stone Editorial Illustration
It began with a close reading of each article to absorb its tone and subtext. From there, visual ideas were explored; often drawing inspiration from vintage sci-fi illustrations, the symbolic potential of ordinary objects, and the surrealist influence of artists like Salvador Dalí. Initial concepts were sketched and reviewed in collaboration with the Creative Director, whose feedback helped refine the direction. Through this exchange, ideas evolved into more nuanced visuals that amplified the narrative voice of the story. The illustrations were featured in two online articles and selected for Rolling Stone’s inaugural print issue. The artworks drew praise from both the editorial team and readers online for their bold visuals that added new layers of meaning to the written pieces.
    uniE621 Freedom Tracker UI/UX Research & Design
Description Freedom Tracker is a mobile app designed to support caregivers in managing early-stage dementia, with a focus on wander management through real-time technology. Gaps in caregiving, based on interview transcripts, were analysed to develop essential features. Our research involved: outlining usability tasks and requirements, delineating user goals and environment to provide context of use, and creating various models (e.g., hierarchical task inventory, user flow model). Results Usability tests helped identify issues (e.g., button size, order of input fields). Overall, users felt the design met the app's purpose. The team was able to improve the system usability score to 78 from the target. Additionally, it was praised by our academic evaluator for achieving a higher level of fidelity as a prototype. uniE621 Nolisoli Design Works
Nolisoli wanted to revitalise their initially simplistic website. Translated from UI/UX prototypes, the new design was implemented using Elementor and CSS styling. Featured stories were regularly updated using Gutenberg. End-to-end marketing materials (video assets, art direction) for brands like Nestlé and Toyota were also executed, with Nolisoli’s branding infused. Featured articles for campaigns were specially designed using WordPress’ Slider Revolution plugin; published via WordPress CMS to align with internal SEO best practices for web traffic. The site grew monthly visits of up to 35K. This was also achieved by translating online articles into graphic cards that are posted (feed, stories, reels) across social media platforms. Brand partnerships amounted to 150K-300K social media engagements, which prompted future executions. Established brand guidelines and technical specifications for stakeholders are still actively followed today, evident in current social media visuals.
