Storytelling has been part of me since childhood, what began with arranging dolls and drawing on paper has grown into a passion for illustration and animation. With a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Illustration from Manchester Metropolitan University, I’ve explored everything from pattern illustration and social media design to children’s books and animation. What drives me now is creating visuals that carry emotion, meaning, and a genuine connection with people.

My latest animation project, created in collaboration with The University of Manchester, with support from Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) .
This animation explores spontaneous memorials, those powerful collections of candles, toys, letters, and personal belongings that appear after tragic events. It shows they are not just objects, but symbols of grief, love, solidarity, and shared memory.
This work invites professionals to recognise their value and decide how to care for them.
🔗 You can learn more about spontaneous memorials at spontaneousmemorials.org and explore the creative thinking process behind my animation there.
I created a short animation inspired by the death of Mahsa Amini and the historical discrimination faced by women. The piece represents women’s resilience and shared strength through unity after years of oppression, and it was exhibited at A4 Studios in Manchester.
