Hi! I'm Dale from Vancouver, Canada. I specialize in music composition, arrangement, & production, voiceover narration, and sound design. I have my own company called Skogen Studios, providing these services on a freelance/contractual basis. During the last year I was involved as the composer and sound designer for "Eve: Dance Is An Unplaceable Place" a Virtual Reality (VR) dance production. The performance continues to tour around the world and has recently been awarded the VR Grand Prize at the Kaohsiung Film Festival in Taiwan and earlier the 2019 Grand Prix at the Laval Virtual showcase in France. From 2014-2018 I was based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During this time I had some great opportunities working with clients throughout the Middle East. I am an experienced composer, producer and sound designer. My Bachelor of Music, with a specialty in classical piano, gives me the tools to compose for many different musical genres. Over the past 5 years I have completed two Music Production Diplomas and worked with clients from NYC, LA and Vancouver - this has given me the experience to confidently work within commercial music fields such as various pop genres, acoustic song writing and most notably in film scoring. I am confident working with you if you leave the music open-ended for me as well as if you know exactly what sound you're looking for, whether it is for an app, game, website, commercal or music you've written yourself. I have a deep-rooted love of music and I will not settle with a project until I know that you're fully happy with the result.
