Bastarde is an international rock unit formed in London in 2024. I produced, recorded, and mixed their self-titled debut album, and released it on May 15, 2025. I play guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica and synths, and perform vocals of 5 of the album’s 9 tracks
Blândețe began as a collection of 12 poems written by Romanian visual artist and poet Laurențiu Zloteanu, initially intended for publication. These poems became the lyrical backbone of the album, exploring addiction, pain, and the search for redemption.
Under the moniker “Mirabela Power” I have created a 12 songs that cover a range of musical genres, each track meticulously tuned to the rhythm, tone, cadence, and emotional load of Laurențiu Zloteanu’s spoken word compositions.
I envisioned Blândețe as a cinematic experience, with each track serving as a score to the vivid scenes laid out by the poet. The album invites listeners on a journey through a patchwork of emotional landscapes - from the clutches of fear and despair to the search for ablution and atonement.
